Storage Environment and Management Methods for Electronic Components

12/8/2018

1, Environmental Requirements:

Most of the electronic components must be stored in a clean, ventilated, non-corrosive gas warehouse; partition walls, stored off the ground, in addition, we focus on how to control the temperature and humidity of the storage environment.

Method 1: The most traditional method is to check and record the humidity values of the warehouse and the workshop from time to time by the warehouse manager or management personnel. When abnormal conditions are found, the humidification or dehumidification equipment is used to control the humidity of the warehouse and the workshop.

Method 2: Temperature and humidity recorder, ie temperature sensor and humidity sensor, can be installed in the warehouse or production workshop and the vehicle for transporting the product. Link the recorder to our computer with the communication cable attached to the instrument, and set up the record. After the instrument's start-up time, recording period, stop time, stop mode and other parameters, and after the test is completed, the recorder can be disconnected to control the temperature and humidity of the warehouse or workshop.

The quality of the storage environment in the warehouse directly affects the quality of electronic components and the length of the limited storage period, which cannot be ignored.

2. Special Requirements:

1. Electrostatic sensitive devices (such as MOS field effect transistors, gallium arsenide field-effect transistors, CMOS circuits, etc.) should be stored in a container with electrostatic shielding.

2. Electronic components that are sensitive to electromagnetic fields but have no magnetic shielding themselves should be stored in a magnetically shielded container.

3, Other Requirements:

Warehouses, workshops and other storage areas should be strictly prohibited from smoking. It is strictly forbidden to use open flames. Fire-fighting equipment should be clearly marked. The staff should wear anti-static wristbands when entering and leaving. All components should be registered in and out, including: name, specification and quantity. Information such as the warehousing time and placed in the location specified by the warehouse according to the logo. The goods have no special circumstances to follow the principle of first in, first out.

Combining the above-mentioned goods storage methods can help us reduce the objective loss caused by the environment, but the goods should not be stored in the warehouse for a long time. The storage environment and time will have certain influence on the components. The enterprise should avoid the excessive inventory of the goods and cause excessive inventory. If there is still unsalable inventory, it should be sold in time or transferred to a recycling company that recycles electronic components.
